Richard Lue - Member Relations
Now that I often have to be in rooms where I am the ‘other’, I find myself craving spaces that simply allow people of colour to exist.
CJS is a network where members feel safe to just be rather than having to put on a performance to fit in.

Brenda Offe - Event Coordinator
It has always been a huge desire of mine to find a diverse and vibrant platform like CJS.
A network where I can contribute, have an impact on and where I can raise my voice for underrepresented communities is very empowering and something I was missing throughout my life.
I feel extremely empowered by being around all those impressive PoC, who are just engaging you to go for your dreams, while society is not.

Marie Gbegnedji - Social Media
CJS has provided me with so much support and in a way confidence, it really helped me embrace my Blackness.
Conversations around diversity and racism need to be had across the board and CJS brings people together. We need to show bands and organizations how to walk the talk!
